State FFA Convention
The St. Ansgar FFA Chapter had seven members attend the State FFA Convention.
The members that attend State FFA Convention were: Erik Gerdt, Grace Heimer, Leah Bergerson, Brody Patterson, Sarah Phelps, Sydney Patterson and Chloe Levan.
The poultry judging team competed at the State FFA Convention and received third place. The members of the team were Chloe Levan, Sarah Phelps, Sydney Patterson and Erik Gerdts.
The FFA members that attended enjoyed the career fair and they also enjoyed competing in events and the sessions.
One member, Sarah Phelps received her Iowa FFA Degree, which is the highest degree given at the state level. The Iowa FFA Degrees were awarded at state convention. She also received a degree pin chain and a 50-dollar scholarship.
