A Supervised Agricultural Experience, or SAE, is required before obtaining a Chapter FFA Degree. The different types of SAE's that you can have are placement and entrepreneurship. Just about anything can be considered an SAE if you can keep records. Some examples of SAE's are cleaning a Co-op building, having your own garden, working for a farmer or some other business that is related to agriculture. Some more examples of SAE's are raising sheep, cattle, hogs and horses.
